Saramonic Dual Lavalier Microphone Wireless Blink 500 B2

The Blink500 B2 from Saramonic is a wireless transmitter set with built-in battery. The system consists of two transmitters and a receiver. You use the Blink500 B2 with both smartphones and cameras, thanks to the included TRRS and TRS cable. A microphone is built into the transmitters, allowing you to attach the transmitter to a clothing item with the clip and start recording immediately. In addition, you can use the transmitters as a handheld microphone, because it is a microphone and transmitter in one. Lavalier microphones are also included for both transmitters. A lavalier microphone takes a little more time to pin on, but is less visibly present.

The powerful transmitter and receiver use the 2.4 GHz signal for a range of 50 meters in open field (up to 30 meters in practice). The built-in 400 mAh li-ion batteries provide up to five hours of battery life. You can charge the batteries by connecting a cable to the USB-C connector. For both transmitters and the receiver, a USB-C cable is included, to connect to a USB port of a computer or socket charger. Charging takes about 1.5 hours. For situations where you can't wait for this, it is also possible to use the transmitters and receiver immediately when they are being charged (e.g. via a power bank). On the receiver there is a clamp which is also suitable for camera-hot cover.

If you are looking for a powerful, compact system that can be used universally, go for the Blink500 B2. The transmitters and receivers are extremely compact, but offer very good sound. There are no complicated settings; after a one-time pairing, the transmitters and receivers are switched on and ready for use immediately. On the transmitters, the volume can be adjusted using the + and - buttons. The metal microphone capsules and included pop caps ensure a beautiful and reliable sound both indoors and outdoors. The Blink500 B2 records the sound of both microphones on one track. The recorded sound of the microphones can therefore always be heard on both channels, both the left and right channel.
