The transmitter of the Blink 800 B1 is connected to the metal DK3A lavalier microphone. The DK3A has a 180-cm cable, which means that you always have enough space to attach the microphone to clothing. With the clip, the microphone fits on virtually any clothing. Both a plop cap and windshield are included, so you can record silently indoors and outdoors. The transmitter of the Blink 800 B1 set is easy to attach to a belt, for example, with the clip on the back. The receiver comes with a 3.5 mm TRS cable, which can be used universally with any 3.5 mm female TRS port. To safely use the Blink 800 B1 receiver with a DSLR camera, a cold-shoe adapter is included. Both the transmitter and receiver have a built-in battery, which can be charged with the included usb-c cables. These are easily connected to a computer or power adapter with USB-A connector.

Virtually nothing needs to be set up; you just turn on the Blink 800 B1 transmitter and receiver, pair them with one push of a button on first use, and the connection is a reality. The sound is transmitted in digital quality from the transmitter to the receiver. The range of up to 60 meters gives more than enough freedom of movement. By default, the Blink 800 B1 works with a TRS cable. If you want to connect the Blink 800 B1 to your iPhone, iPad, Android device or a TRRS jack, cables and an adapter are available for this purpose.
