Saramonic Microphone Adapter SmartRig+ for DSLR and Smartphone

The SmartRig+ from Saramonic is a 2-channel sound adapter, with a total of 6 input ports:

• 2x XLR
• 2x 1/4” 6.35mm (for your guitar, etc.)
• 2x 3.5mm

The six input ports are spread out over two channels. Both channels feature 1x XLR, 1x 6.35mm and 1x 3.5mm. You can connect the SmartRig+ to you DSLR camera, GoPro or smartphone (iOS and Android) with the integrated 3.5mm cable. To listen to the sound, you can connect a headphone to the 3.5mm female port. There are two built-in rotary buttons to adjust the input volume.

The SmartRig+ can be powered with an 9V battery. On the bottom side of the SmartRig+ you will find an 1/4” female screw-thread, to mount him to a camera or tripod. With a button on the top of the SmartRig+, you can turn the 48v phantom power on and off. Because of this, you can use both dynamic and condenser microphones. You can switch between mono and stereo, with the button on the front side. When you want to record with the SmartRig+ you need power and the SmartRig+ therefore needs a 9V battery. If you only want to playback a recording then the SmartRig+ does not need a battery.
