A weighted blanket is used in proprioception disorders, which appear, among others, in in people with autism, ADHD or sensory processing disorders. It is also often recommended for insomnia, depression and anxiety. The sensory blanket stimulates deep sensation, "silencing" the nervous system.

The quilt provides constant stimulation of the deep sensory system, which significantly contributes to reducing the level of anxiety and stress.
